Chris is a British actor from Liverpool. Don't worry about him sounding American, he can do that. Seriously, stop worrying, just give him the appointment. He's a proud alumni of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts graduating in 2010 before joining the Academy Company in 2011. Stop worrying about his accent. Since moving to the US he's been on network television and off-Broadway and his accent isn't an issue. Does he protest too much? No.
